KEEPING THE GREATEST
COMMANDMENT
Matt 22:36 (NIV) "Teacher, which is the greatest
commandment in the Law?" 37 Yahshua replied: " 'Love
{Yahweh} your {Elohim} with all your heart and with all your soul and with
all your mind.'... (also see Deut. 6:5) {from
the Hebrew:"...with all your will,with all
that you are, and with all of your strength."}
1Joh 5:3 (KJS) For this is the
love
of {Yahweh}, that we keep
his commandments: and his commandments are
not grievous.
WHAT COMMANDMENTS HAS YAHWEH
GIVEN THAT SPECIFICALLY RELATE TO WORSHIPPING HIM?
1.) WEEKLY
Exod 31:16 (KJS) Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep
the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout
their generations, [for] a perpetual covenant. 17 It [is] a
sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for [in] six
days {Yahweh} made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested,
and was refreshed. [Keeping the Sabbath is a sign between Yahweh and the
believer,
including those grafted into Israel.

2.) DURING THE YEAR
Exod 23:14 (KJS) Three times
thou shalt keep a feast UNTO ME in the year.
15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread:
(thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the
time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt:
and none shall appear before me empty:) 16 And the
feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast
sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering,
[which is] in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours
out of the field. 17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear
before the master {Yahweh}.
IN GENERAL, NEITHER CHRISTIANITY NOR JUDAISM KEEP ALL
OF NO.1 AND NO.2 ABOVE.
Deut 12:29 (KJS) When {Yahweh} thy {Elohim} shall cut off the nations
from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest
them, and dwellest in their land; 30 Take heed to thyself that thou be
not snared by following them... that thou enquire not after their mighty
ones, saying, How did these nations serve their {mighty
ones}? even so will I do likewise. 31 Thou shalt not do so unto the {Yahweh}
thy {Elohim}: for every abomination to {Yahweh}, which he hateth,
have they done unto their mighty ones...32 What thing soever I command
you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto,
nor diminish from it.
This means keep his commandments
as he instructed:
DO NOT DIMINISH - Sabbaths,
Holy Day Festivals, Dietary Laws, Honoring of His Name.
DO NOT ADD THERETO - Easter,
Christmas, and other non-biblical holidays. Non-biblical kosher and Sabbath
regulations.
