MOSES HAS ANSWERED THIS QUESTION AND JAMES COMMENTS
In Deuteronomy chapter 10, Moses is talking to the people who say that they want to follow Yahweh.  If we want to follow Yahweh and have him consider us to be one of his, these requirements are still valid for us today.

Deu 10:12  “And now, Yisra’ěl, what is יהוה your Elohim asking of you, but to fear יהוה your Elohim, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being,
Deu 10:13  to guard the commands of יהוה and His laws which I command you today for your good

James 1:21  Therefore put away all filthiness and overflow of evil, and receive with meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your lives.
1:22  And become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
